Women's Retreat
April 26 - 29, 2008
Ronda and Gina will be hosting another women's retreat this spring, bigger and better than
ever. This special event includes 3 nights lodging, daily morning yoga, healthy but enticing food,
including breakfast, lunch (box option) and dinner. The highlight of your stay will be a Day Spa
Package at the Top Notch Resort in Stowe, where you will immerse yourself in the luxurious spa
experience! Enjoy a whirlpool, sauna and steam and then relax by choosing one of the following
50 minute services: clay body mask, Swedish massage, combo massage, aroma mountain massage, reflexology,
craniosacral therapy or Reiki. In addition to the use of all pools, private lounges, sauna, steam,
whirlpool and juice bar, you will have access to fitness classes (like Pilates mat class and Yoga), and a
gourmet lunch in the Buttertub Bistro.
Also! Included in this special event: a wine and cheese welcome reception Saturday afternoon, preparation
of recipes from spas like the Green Mountian at Fox Run in Ludlow, Vt., homemade facials and other
treatments, and a couple of surprises.
The price, which includes all day spa and clubhouse costs is $260 for SWC members and $280 for guests.

Work Weekend
May 10 - May 11, 2008
The Spring work weekend will focus on increasing the appeal of the clubhouse with cleaning and painting. We need
skilled painters who can get all of the paint on the walls and not on the floors for this weekend.

Spring Fling
May 17 - May 18, 2008
Bring your PFDs and canoes for this event. If you don't have a PFD, there are a few extras at the clubhouse, along with a
couple extra canoes. If it is too windy for canoeing, we will plan to stalk the early season wildflowers, and maybe climb
a mountain or two along the way.
FORE! Vermont
June 21-22, 2008
Attention! Attention! Attention! Golfers, Duffers, Hackers, Choppers, Whiffers. The skis are up and the
clubs are out. Saturday and Sunday June 21 and 22 at courses in the vicinity of the Clubhouse. Play 18+ holes Saturday and
9 to 18 holes on Sunday. Cost is $100 to $150 depending upon rounds played. This includes 2 breakfasts, dinner Saturday,
greens fees, carts and great camaraderie. For more information email Tony or

Luau with Anna and Sophie
July 25-27, 2008
Come and enjoy the beautiful Vermont air this August with Sophie! Sophie and her helpers
have planned a fun weekend, including a Saturday Luau with the following activities:
- Best Hawaiian-themed costune
- Best Hula Dancer (lessons by Sophie)
- Best Pineapple Jumper
- Best Hawaiian Drink Mixer
- Best Ukeulele Player (lessons by Sophie)
Other weekend attractions: swim, canoe, hike, walk, read, bask, breath, eat, talk and
laugh. If you need any more motivation to join, we can't help you. Be there or be square.
Bike with Walt
August 8-10, 2008
Walt Kangas will be hosting a bike weekend at the Clubhouse on this weekend. The rides will be as
as easy as the Stowe Bike/Hike path to as challenging as you would like to make it. There
are many rides of moderate difficulty with great views of the green country side. The
ultimate ride is over Smugglers Noth and back to Stowe via many of the back roads north of
Stowe.

This is the scheduled peak of the fall colors in VT and with all the rain this year, the colors should be spectacular.
This is a great time to hike in the hills and trails around the Clubhouse as the temperatures are lower and the views
from the mountains are tops.
