MEMBERS CLUBHOUSE

Members enjoy the exclusive benefit of staying at the SWC clubhouse, a converted 1775 Vermont farmhouse modernized to host skiers in a comfortable rustic setting economically.  

The Clubhouse is conveniently located on Vermont Route 100 in Waterbury Center,  five minutes off Interstate 89 and a short drive to Northern Vermont ski areas.  Nearby downhill resorts include Stowe, Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, Jay Peak, Bolton Valley and Smugglers Notch.  Cross country centers nearby include e.g. Von Trapp Lodge,  Craftsbury Outdoor Center, Stowe Resort,  Hazen's Notch,  Bolton Nordic Center.  

Winter ski weekends are often hosted by volunteer members, and there's always fun with evening socializing. The Clubhouse includes a large kitchen area where members can prepare and enjoy their own meals,  a dining area suitable for large groups, 12 bedrooms with a total of 34 beds, separate men's and women's bathrooms with showers, a large community room with fireplace and a basement game room with ping pong, foosball, air hockey and darts. Guests should plan to bring sheets, pillows and towels for their use.
