Schenectady Wintersports Club (SWC) was founded in 1932 to promote outdoor winter activities in the New York State Capital District. Partnering with Northern New York Paddlers (NNYP) and Mohawk Valley Hiking Club (MVHC),  SWC evolved to foster and encourage year-round outdoor activities.

Members enjoy the exclusive year-round benefit of staying at a private Clubhouse located in Waterbury Center, Vermont.
