President's Notes

Working with my friend, and Long Path North Hiking Club president, Mark Traver, I’m able to announce a planned hike on February 15 on LP Section 33. That section is located in Partridge Run State Forest in  the Town of Berne in Albany County. The hike will begin at High Point Rd and traverse to Beaver Rd or Tubbs Pond depending upon snow, mud or ice conditions. Details will be listed on the SWC website under events.
