Join Us for a Bike Ride on the Ashuwillticook Trail!
Saturday, July 15, 2023
An awesome easy ride in the summer! Ashuwillticook is a fully paved rail trail featuring the full splendor of the scenic Berkshires. The trail follows the Hoosic River valley between Lanesborough and Adams while providing views of mountains, lakes and rivers. Check out the trail website here for more information.
This is a free event for socializing and outdoor activity. Guests are welcome, and they do not need to be a member.
Let's plan to meet at the Adams Visitor Center parking lot:
Adams Visitor Center
3 Hoosac Street
Adams MA 01220
The Visitor Center will be open on Saturday 7/15 from 9 AM - 1 PM, and bathrooms are available. (There is an interesting museum display inside which tells some of the skiing history of the area that includes Mount Greylock.)
We plan to be on our bikes ready to ride by 10:30 AM, and then ride south towards Lanesborough (bathrooms available there near the lake). The round trip is approximately 20 miles, but everyone may ride at their own pace and distance. On the return ride towards Adams, everyone is invited to stop at AJs Trailside Pub (12 Pleasant St, Adams, MA 01220) which has indoor and outdoor seating, menu here.
Please register so we know you are coming. Looking forward to seeing you!

Note:
The Adams DPW recently installed a beautiful new ‘ADAMS’ bike rack and a bike repair station at the Visitor Center. The station includes an air pump and tools for flat tires and minor bike fixes.
