Announcing the SWC Early Season Ski Clinic Dec 5 - Dec 8 , 2024!

When and Where:  Thursday December 5 to Sunday December 8,  Stowe Vermont area.

Who? The Clinic is sponsored by the Schenectady Wintersports Club in conjunction with the Stowe Mountain Ski School. There are lessons available for both skiers and snowboarders with a student to instructor ratio of about 9 to 1.  

What's the Plan?  Kick off the weekend Thursday Night with a Welcome Party mixer at the SWC Clubhouse in Waterbury Center.  Friday and Saturday features either a half-day or full-day instructional lessons, with the option to free ski as you desire.  Sunday lessons are half-day instruction in the morning, afternoon free skiing.  There are also many activities in the Stowe area for non-skiers.

Where will we stay?  Clinic lodging will be provided at the SWC Clubhouse in Waterbury Center,  as a hosted weekend where full meals are available for purchase.  For this event, roommates will be assigned at the SWC Clubhouse ($40pp/night) in order to accommodate as many skiers as possible.

Lodging may also be available at the Stowe Motel on a first come first serve basis. If you prefer to stay at the Stowe Motel, please contact them directly at 802- 253- 7629 or https://www.stowemotel.com to make your reservation.

Registration:  Complete your required full registration through this announcement using the Register button. This form will be used to assign Clubhouse room reservations and calculate the full Clinic price, class assignments, and meals you wish to purchase.  A separate invoice for Clubhouse lodging will be issued after your room is assigned.

How Much:  Registration for the lessons and meals are charged through this event form.  Lessons are $130 for half-day, $245 for full-day.  Dinners on Friday and Saturday night include, appetizers, main course and sides, and dessert for $25 pp.  Room charges for the Clubhouse will be invoiced separately when rooms are assigned.  Full payment is due by November 15.  If you choose to pay by check, payment must be mailed to P.O. Box 2072, Wilton NY 12831 by November 1.

Lift tickets are not included in the Clinic price.  Epic Local Passes and Epic 3 Day Passes from www.epicpass.com are the least expensive way to participate in the Clinic.
